Did you know that case studies are more trusted than white papers?

According to the CMO Council, case studies carry much more weight with your clients than white papers when it comes to B2B content, beating out even analyst reports, and independent product reviews….

Case Study Proof

This means that when it comes to gaining the trust of your clients, and building healthcare thought leadership, case studies are a better investment. Unfortunately, much of the healthcare industry still relies on traditional white papers, when they could be telling amazing stories of their business successes in these case-related formats.

Case Studies

Case studies allow your prospects and clients to envision themselves using your products and services by positioning a positive client experience in a challenge/solution format. That’s why the creation of my case studies involved extensive discussion of goals, intended use, interview time, and feedback. The result is a pleasant-to-read, editorial-styled document designed that helps push decision-makers closer to signing on with you.

Anti-Case Studies

Particularly in healthcare, it can be better to tell the story of what can happen if a client doesn’t take action on a pain point. This is where anti-case studies come in. These are useful if you have information and data around a prior customer’s state before they worked with you, or after deciding not to use your services. They are especially applicable in the face of regulatory changes (such as Meaningful Use) and industry standard changes (such as the switch to ICD-10).

Case Summaries

Sometimes you need to tell the story of one of your products or services, but don’t want to invest in a full case study — that’s where case summaries come in. They’re one page and can be distributed as blog posts or newsletters. These can be created based on information you have already and may not require the interview process that a full case study does.
